FAQs

1.What is the best month to get married?

While our beautiful islands have tropical climate year round, the year however is split into two major seasons. From November to April – hot and humid with tropical rains and May to October – hot sunny days and cool evenings.

2.Is there a good time of the day to exchange vows?

I have being to sunrise weddings (6 am) and evening weddings (6 pm) so there is no limit. Depending on your group size however, it may be worthwhile to plan out your wedding ceremony if it is outdoors, to be later afternoons when the sun is not in your eyes but not too late where it can become too dark. Generally speaking our advise would be depending on the month, at least an hour before sunset is the best time to say &cute;I do&cute;.

3.How much notice should I give in order to secure my Fiji wedding?

Depending on the month that you choose to have your wedding, the peak seasons for the resorts and hotels are from May to September. These are when the rates are pricey. You can get a good deal for the earlier months in the year and later months. Our advice would be to book early to avoid disappointment. Most brides book at least a year out and then get so busy that time flies so fast and the more proactive you get your plans folded out, the better organized your dream day becomes.

4.Can you please also advise the minimum number of days required by law that we would need to be in Fiji to complete legalities, paperwork etc?

Most resorts give you a minimum of 3 days. This is to allow you to settle in, get the paperwork organized and the license applied for, and also for you to have a chance to relax and enjoy your surroundings. Your wedding coordinator also has a chance to reconfirm special requests with suppliers etc and can touch base with you should the need arise.
